Making the transition to college is an exciting time but can also be challenging without a little guidance.
For the spring semester, we will be offering a New Student Orientation for undergrad students admitted for the spring 2021 semester. It will take place on January 7, 2021 and is set at a limited capacity based on current University, State, and CDC COVID-19 guidelines. Students can register through their MyNSU account. The orientation program is designed to provide new students with the information, resources, and support needed to help facilitate a successful transition to Northwestern State University.
What to Expect at New Student Orientation:
- Opportunities to connect with future classmates and explore your campus
- An introduction to NSU student services and resources
- Meet with an academic advisor who will help you understand your major and schedule of classes
- Register for the spring semester
